Those of you using Torque Pro...VIN code

When you look at the adapter status can you see your VIN code? I am wanting to buy a tuner for my 6.0 from 5 star and they asked me for my VIN code and my doesnt show anything... do you see it on your phone/adpater? Thank you for your help!

Your vehicles vin no. Is what they want. Get your vin from your dash or title. If pcm has been replaced or serviced it might not have been reset with your actual vin no. You can do all this with Forscan.

I was told they wanted the VIN strategy code for their tuner to write my tunes, is that correct? Where do I find it with Torque Pro, or will Forscan lite or can I find it another way? I do have a scanner to plug in like you see at a auto parts store too, would that tell me?
