well decided that Ford makes the worlds worst truck and after less that one year and 4 seperate issues from peeling clearcoat to transmission replacement at 32k miles, I have gone back to a real truck. Damn I missed my Dodge
Well we are sorry to see you leave. Every manufacturer puts out a few duds... just sucks that you got one. Hope the Dodge treats you well in future endeavors.
well, I saw your old post that you said you just bought your 04 in February of this year, so it was used. So maybe you bought someone else's lemon to begin with. That's one reason that sometimes you are better off buying brand new instead. But then again, every manufacturer does produce lemons sometimes.
And you got a new Dodge 95, 98, 01. Any problems with those (willing to admit?) or you just like to upgrade every few years? People with Dodges I know always seem to have tranny problems.

that is why I went with a Ford again. The Dodge Lone Star/Big Tex 1500 and the 3500 with the Cummins (leveled though) look great to me, but the interior quality isn't to par with Chevy and Ford. that and every person I know who owns a Dodge has had tranny work done. I mean every single person. To a tune of six.
anyways, so you had the truck 10 months, didn't like the way the exhaust sounded and just when the bugs should have been about worked out under warranty, you traded out of it. It's likely the person who buys the 04 you got rid of will drive it with no problems at all.

no im sure the next person will be having more problems, such as after the tranny was replaced I dropped about 4 mpg, ford says nothing they can do. second recurring problem is the fact the truck has an issue of not starting, acts like dead battery, but lights will stay on and not shut off, again Ford is stumped. third Power has never been what I or other ford owners are looking for, the other owners say lots of power but when they drove mine they all shook their heads and said somethings wrong, again Ford says nothing is wrong. So if the next guy or gal buys it I hope the do a little research and contact me.
Sorry for your trouble. I have an '05 FX4 Extended Cab and it is one of the best vehicles I have owned ( I have had all makes foreign and domestic ). I think Ford could have done better on the electronic throttle and transmission interface but I found the answer in the Edge module. Hope your future vehicles turn out better!
Sorry to hear the troubles with the truck. Sounds like you certainly got a bad one.
Don't listen to these guys, I own a '95 Dodge with 105k and have never had any tranny issues. I would agree that the interior is a little cheap and the ride is not up to par vs. Chevy and Ford but mechanically I've had no issues.
