Need help with a 9"
I just bought a 9" third member and 31 spine axles shafts for my 53', i got both axles shafts and the trac loc 3.50 third member for $100, but i want to rebuild the diff and i can't seem to figure out how to seperate the 2 halfs...please help.

well i got the whole third taken apart and cleaned it, put in the new clutches and my alxe shafts are 28 spline and the posi is a 31 so i bought the shafts that are for the year truck we got the alxe out (the 31 spline) and i come to find out at some point in time our axle was shorted...so now i have a rebuilt third member and 31 spline alxes that i can't use.
