Tranny shifting problems???
Hey everyone! I've got a 99 F-250LD with about 70,000 miles on it. In the past 10,000 miles or so it has gradually started to shift harder. It will rev up and when it shifts, it pulls the engine down quite a little. Almost lugs it for a second. Also when it shifts down, the RPM stays high for about 3 seconds and then drops 3 or 4 hundred rpm. I flushed and changed the filter at 30,000 and then again at like 62,000 miles. Any info on what could be going wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
