Truck sagging
My truck sags to the left. Most noticeable in the rear. About an inch. Front does it somewhat but have new springs in front(lift). Figure the rear is torqueing the front around. I've searched the forums and seen mention of Ford's shim kit. Also some folks recommended changing out the springs. Curious as to why there is this problem and do the newer trucks(04,05,06) do this? And for those who have replaced their rear springs, did this fix the problem? Is there a particular model this problem is associated with, longbed, crewcab, diesels, etc.?

I changed my springs due to that sagging every time I put any type af load on the truck.cured the problem no more sag of any kind even under heavy loads of tile in the bed.costed about $450 through the local spring shop.mine is a 99 it also gaveme about 2 inches of lift.no regrets sure worth the money.

If you change out the springs you may want to upgrade to the heavier F-350 springs, or the even heavier yet, dually springs. If you don't haul stuff all the time, or most of the time, I think that the spring kit will work fine. Another plus to the leveling shims is that if you are a four wheeling fanatic, that softer f-250 springs that you have right now will provide more flex off road than any of the heavier springs.
