CB Antenna ??
I'm looking for a CB antenna that bolts inplace of my factory antenna, does anyone know of such a beasty??
Has anyone used one of those "though the glass" mount CB antennas,,,,how well do they work.

I have seen converters to run am/fm off of an 11meter antenna, but nothing the other way around. If you are set on mounting it there, try to find a short fibreglass. Something like the 4' ones, if you put an 8.5' on the fender, it may flex the sheet metal too much. I think the bolt is 7/16", so any plate you can find/make to mount it should work.
Through glass sucks, and more so if your tent has any metals in it. I tried one once and will not again.
