Screw I.D.

At long last I am getting around to reassembling my shifter colum and now I have a memory problem. There are two type of torx screws, same length, thread and same size torx. One is a pan head, brass colored steel screw and one is a round head black colored steel screw with a washer already on the screw. My factory service manuel shows numbers N805858 and 805858 (no "N") but I have no way to tell which is which and I'm sure that proper use of the proper screw is important. Any body know the difference?
Also, I notice that somesort of Lok-Tite has been used on the screws but I can't see what color it was. Again, any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help. TN

Dont know what your screws are but......The black ones with washers sound like trim screws?
Blue loctite will likely do the job, you can still remove the screws. Red stuff is usually pretty much permanent.
