99 F250 V10 80,000 The overdrive switch light doesn't function and tranny will not switch out of OD. Is this a TR sensor problem ?

Could be that, or the switch, or a few other things. I would get the codes checked as soon as possible to make sure.

It's most likely broken wires to the OD light and switch. They often break where the wires enter the shifter inside the steering column. Remove the plastic cover from the steering column and you should be able to see the problem.

The TR sensor isn't involved with the OD light or switch.
