wiper arm grille removal

I got a 2000 explorer, washer pressure is very low and I put a new pump on with same results. I want to check the hoses going to the nozzle but can't see how to remove the grille once the wiper arms are off. Any help appreciated.

Not sure about a 2000, but normally there are screws that are accessible when the hood is up that hold the panel on. They screw the lip of the panel into the firewall.
