Remove transfer case?

My son is having problems getting the transfer case off on his 91 Bronco 4X4. Is there a trick to this? Ha! Thanks.

There is a gasket betwen Tranny and T-case, maybe it gets real stuck

Make sure that you have removed six bolts from the transmission/transfer case joint. It takes some wiggling and lifting but the shaft is really tight and will slide very slowly. Take your time and be prepared to catch the transfer case once it slides free.
