floor shifter light?

Is the flloor shifter supposed to light up to tell what gear your in?
what about some of the lights on the door panels working and some not (lock and window button light)

Yeah they are s'posed to work, i had a couple of the lights burn out on my window buttons on my '04 FX4, but I just got a new SCrew yesterday and I'm not worried about it now....lol
