rear wind deflector..
On my Suburban I have a factory option rear wind deflector that keeps the rain off the rear window quite well and I have been trying to find one for the "X".. Has anyone seen one listed anywhere??? I looked thru the Performance Corner catalogue and couldn't find one there either..I know that we have rear window wipers on the X,but it doesn't really seem to do a good job of keeping the window clear.Besides,it uses a flat blade on a curved window and my dealer says it's in good condition (shock) and that's the way they seem to work..

I had the Ford color-matched rear wind deflector on my '01 Limited X. I think it directed MORE water down the rear window than anything. About all it was good for was to provide shade to the CHMSL. I'm not going to bother with another one on the '05 X.
Most that I've talked to had it for looks and said about the only thing they could quantify that it did was lower their mpg
