'88 5.0 in a '51 F-1?
I have a '51 F-1 that has an early 70's 302 2bbl w/standard ignition. I also own an '88 Cougar XR-7 w/ 5.0 efi. Am I asking for trouble if I put the 5.0 in the F-1? (Considering the requirements for the electronics, fuel injection, etc.)

go to the tech articles heading on the right side of this page and there is an excellent article on 5.0 EFI swaps. Also Ron Francis, Ford Motorsports, and Painless Performance make complete wiring harnesses for the swap. You will not believe the difference in performance AND mileage.
