Voltage Reducer?
1950 f-1; converting to 12v, guages have been coverted by united speedometer. Will I need a voltage reducer to be able to use the original 6v heater fan motor or the horn? Thanks in advance.

I think I found the answer. Ron Francis has a rather serious looking reducer that rated at up to 15 amps, enough for the heater motor. Part # is VR-4 and it costs $55. This unit won't work for the horn. It was recommended to me to hook the horn up to the 12v but don't lay on the horn too much or I'll fry it.
