Big Wide Stripes
What is the best way to lay some stripe material on a bed cover. The stripes are the same stripes that Roush uses, the double stripe with a space between them. I think we use to call these 50 series stripe. I have done stripes before but not this size or area. Can someone give me some tricks and instruction on laying these down? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Spray a good mixture of soap and water from a spray bottle. This will let you lift the decal a couple times before it sticks. It will also help when pushing air bubbles out from you're decal.
Make sure a soap and water solution is safe with this decal.

Thanks for the info. I haven't done a stripe this big before so I was a little worried about getting it positioned right. It also will have to be cut into sections due to the folding type bed cover. Thanks again.

Most auto paint or sign shops have a version of what we call "frog juice". It preps the surface,as well as giving time for you to adjust large sections of stripes, panels, lettering or graphics. It also improves adhesion. Just squiggy ,and let it set for a bit. It can make you look like a pro.
