Hi all. I have an 85 fullsize bronco with a 4.9L engine, carbed. Can some one tell me what the o2 sensor plug looks like on the computer harness or what color the wires are?
I have no bung for a sensor on the exhaust manifold or exhaust but I am installing one in the exhaust down pipe by the manifold. I am going to purchase a universal o2 sensor to save money. I don't know what the sensor wire plug looks like or what color the wires are.
If someone could help me out here it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bill
kemicalburns, if what you say is true, then why does my neighbors 86 F150 with the same engine and carb as my 85, have an o2 sensor?
The carb is a feedback carb. It needs the o2 sensor to tell the air/fuel solenoid how to adjust air/fuel.
