The 2 axles (torflex) was $390 - (195 each) & you don't need them they just make it ride a little better in pasture....
YOu can opt for bigger axles or more axles increasing weight but remember the best tires you can find will be rated for maybe 3500# so why have a 8k axle (2 tires) that only can handle 7k on tires...

I towed my new toy home today. 150 mile trip, so it wasn't bad. Good shake down to see how everything is doing. It was the second time I had towed with my trailer, so its new to me all around. Trailer is a 24' Haulmark and tows like a dream. The car is a Toyota bodied late model asphalt car with a 602 GM motor.

agreed! anyone care to post something about how that works out? my fiver has a rear bumper hitch but I just can't see myself adding another 10-15' to the train . I assume it would have to be something light enough that you could move it by hand (how else would you hitch it up?) and the tongue weight would have to be almost nil... or at least balanced out by loading the "middle" trailer properly... I have so many questions

Hell towing doubles is easy! Well at least when you got a semi with 2 28' trailers hehe, but about impossible to back up. Some states require that you have a CDL to tow doubles, like California for example. That's why folks that tow doubles need to plan their interstate routes carefully or you can wide up with a big fine PLUS having to tow them back over the state line one at a time.
