Bed size question

Do any of you with S'crews wish you had a little bigger bed or can you manage ok? I've been looking at S'cabs (02-03s) and can't seem to find what I want (that's a whole other thread for sure). I see a lot of Screws out there but the bed seems so small. I'd like to put a 4-wheeler back there and even with the Scab, I don't think the tailgate will close. With the Screw bed, can you put a 4-wheeler there with the tailgate left open? How about when you go camping? Hauling sheets of plywood? Do you ever wish you had the longer bed? I don't mean to offend with this, just want some input. Thanks.

hey there, good choice with the s'crew. i have an '02 s'crew xlt 4.6l 3.55ls and i love it. i'm a carpenter so it hauls quite a bit of lumber...8' lengths aren't a prob...tailgate down/up doesn't matter...melamine is a bag tho because it's 49" wide...won't fit between the tailgate opening sides. my dirtbikes fir with the gate down...1 will at an angle with the gate up...my f-i-l's honda foreman450 fits fine with the gate down...

yeah sometimes i wish i'd have gotten the long bed...but then i look at my cab...i love it...been a great truck!!!! good luck!!

Thanks 96sherm. Still on the fence about which one to pursue.
