I got a set of Weather Tech floor mats for Christmas. Fronts only and I tell you these are quality mats. I mean heavy duty rubber and they cover the floor better than the carpeted mats from Ford.
Those Weather Tech mats are nice and hold a lot of water and junk too. We just got the entire Husky Liner molded mats for our son's Escape for Christmas. I have those in my Super Duty and they hold a ton of junk. They fit really nice and cover the entire floor area. Just another option.
The Husky products look like they are of good quality also. I think I am going to order the Husky mud guards.
I am looking for a cargo liner that goes straight back to the front seats on the Escape. In other words it would have to be longer than the cargo liners that are usually sold that only go to the rear seats. I usually have the rear site folded down so my dogs have more space back there when I take them out. I have searched around, but cannot find a full cargo liner like I want.
Don't know of one myself. Maybe someone else does. The only thing I can think of is to make one yourself using some heavy rubber matting you can find at any home supply store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). The only downside would be if you dogs get in with a lot of mud and snow on them. The matting wouldn't have the nice voids in them to soak up that stuff like our mats. Maybe get a rear cargo liner and then just use the matting on the rear seat backs. Anyone else have ideas?
I was thinking of getting 2 non-molded type cargo liners, the look like a large floor mat made out of rubber and still have the deep grooves and all to catch all the crap the dogs might bring in on their feet. I could over-lap the two mats.
Sounds like over kill, but the whole cargo area with the back seat folded down will be covered.
I got the weathertech liners for the wife escape. THey fit perfectly to all contours of the car. We got the front seat and the rear seat. The rear seat one is all one piece and covers all of the floor from door to door. Great product.

Yes, Weathertech make a good product. Wondering, do the liners come out easily for cleaning like the mats do? From the photos, the look more like a permanent install, especially the rear ones...
The liners come out easy, but they fit very secure and will not slide around, also the drivers mat uses the factory hook. I like the fact that the liner for the rear seat is all one piece and molded perfectly for the floor even extending under the front seats for the feet of a rear passenger.
