the reflector has 2 tabs - one on each end .. pry it up but CAREFULLY so as not to break off a tab .. also yes on the power window/door lock panel . you can just pull / pry it up
it is very easy to do, to get the door panel off all you do is pry the switch panel on the doors off (where your window switches and locks are and unplug the switches) there will be one bolt in there. to get to the other bolt you have to pull off the lens on the bottom of the door light and twist the bulb to free it from the door. unscrew the bolt. also you have to pull off the plastic trim piece on the front corner of the door toward the front of the truck. it will just pull off with your hands. push your door lock down and pull up on the door panel. you have to clear the lock. pull up and you will feel it let go then just pull it toward you. its easier to understand when you start doing it. once you get the door panel off you will have to peel back the sound proofing to get to the hole in the door. you will see two connectors with wires runnign to them the one closest to you is for the door locks and the one in the back is the door switch. is it hard to get your hands in there but is easy to disconnect but a pain to reconnect . this is a lot easier than it sounds like i said the door panels come off with 2 screws and the trim pieces are only cliped in.
Wow Justin, it is amazing because i just recalled that last year (on christmas day) you posted a reply to my thread about how to get the door panels off, and it looked almost exactly like that! I do remember because at the end of the paper i printed off it said Merry Christmas, Justin.... was it copied? How Ironic!

FYI Boston Acoustic 6x8 SL80's sound GREAT as replacements for the stockers (with an amp of course).. They are like little components in one package, genius!
i just replaced speakers in my boss's crew cab and i took out the rear seats to get to the rear speakers. You also have to remove the upper part of the seat belt then you pop up the door panel and lastly you remove the panel that covers the speaker, it just pops off. Just be careful when your prying not to break the clips
How about getting to the rear speakers on a super cab. My factory stockers sound like garbage and want to replace them. Are they 5x7 or 6x8's?? I just dont want to break anything thats plastic. My truck is a 99 and that plastic gets brittle with age. Any help would be appreciated.
I had to remove the rear seat, and then remove the seat belt harness on the wall, pull the corner panel cover off. There is a 6x8 in each corner near the back wall. I used Pioneer TS-A6881's i believe.
i just replaced my fornts with blaupunkt 5x7's and love them, not to mention that i found them for $20 a pair plus $10 shipping on ebay, you cant beat that!!!
