96 plug and boot problems

Hi Pals! Recently sold my 86 B2 and upgraded to a 96 B XL with a 5.8 and 140,000 miles. Any advise on the best spark plugs and wires would be appreciated. Also, the best way to get the boots off the plugs. The plugs and wires have never been changed, so I am going to do a complete tuneup. Thanks for all your help !!!!

If you have stock exhaust manifolds, it probubly doesnt matter. But if you have headers, I would recomend Boush plugs and Excell 8.8 wires. The Boush plugs are the shortest plugs. (to keep the boots away from the headers) and the Excell wires seem to hold up to the heat better than Ford racing wires. (The only ones I have compared) It also is a good idea to put boot protectors on. It may sound like the headers are not worth the trouble, but after you crack a few exhaust manifolds, they arnt so bad.
