'75 F100 axle

'75 F100 axle
A little help, please.
My son's truck is a 1975 F100 4x4 auto/360 w/Ford 9-inch. The passenger-side rear axle is bent. I have picked up two axles only to find they don't fit.
They were all the right length with the correct spline count. The biggest problem seems to be the axle diameter where the bearing seats.
The bearing outer diameter (OD) is the same, but the inner diameter (ID) is different. The diameter of his axle is a bit largerr than the diameter of the axles I have found.
Are the 'standard' F100 axles smaller than the F100 4x4's? Do I need to find a F250 axle?
Any help is appreciated.

The bearings on these axles must be pressed on. 9" axles are 28 or 31 spline, most F100s got the 28 spline axle. An F250 has a Dana 60 or 61 rear axle and its 35 spline and completely different than a 9" axle.
