I got sick of having the bottle of fuel additive in the cab seaping out every once in a while. I found an overflow bottle kit at Wally world that had a bracket that fit the big bottle perfect. I also picked up a funnel and shut off set up that fit on the bottle so I can get the additive in the tank without spilling it all over the place. I just used the shut off and tube.
Thought it turned out to be a pretty slick set up so I figured I share it for anyone else that was thinking about what to do with the bottle. I put it towards the back of the bed so I could reach it when I have the tonneau cover on.
Merry Christmas!

3) Different sizes for what one needs to carry
(I use 33oz bottle as I have 44 gallon fuel tank in my Excursion).
I buy the 96oz jugs of Powerservice as well and just refill 2 MSR bottles which is enough for 2 tank fulls at double dose or 4 tanks at single dosage rate... keep in mind... I have 44 gallon tank and tend to refill at 1/4 tank every time.
May consider the MSR bottle system and free up space in your cargo area and still get secure storage of your additive???
The funny thing is that I have about forty of those fuel bottles from cold weather training. I didn't really think about it. The only problem with those is the same problem I was fighting with the smaller bottle of Powerservice. When you drain them into your tank you inevitably get a little on the bottle. I was keeping mine in the door and it started to stink up the cab after a while.
Mounting it just behind the wheel well keeps it out of the way and it doesn't take up enough cargo space to make much of a difference to me usually. What I didn't really consider was security. Could someone steal or put something else in the bottle? Probably. I'm out in the country though and I rarely park my truck anywhere where someone with malicious intent will screw with it. It's either in the garage or my dog will get to them before I do when it's in the yard. I have a fumoto too, so if someone really wanted to screw with my truck, I'd be up a creek. Thanks for the idea of the fuel bottles though. If it turns out the mount in the bed gets in the way, I'll definitely use it.
How are you able to post pics in your posts without being a FTE Supporter??? There is no "supporter" icon next to yoru name and I thought that to post a pic one had to "pay up"????

Think it stinks up the cab? I have a cap on mine and a bedrug. I used to keep the Powerservice in the bed until my toolbox slid into it and lost all of it on the bedrug. Didn't do any damage, but good lord it stunk!! I went to the car wash and powerwashed for an hour, left the vent windows open for a week and finally got some (Like 3 bottles) of Febreeze. I can just smell a hint of it still, but it might be my imagination.
