Holiday Wishes

Here's hoping that you have all been good boys and girls (for the most part ) this year and that Santa puts some awesome tools under your tree.

I asked him for a cordless combo set containing at least a drill and a circular saw, and maybe even a flashlight. Although I was a pretty good boy, I don't think he'll bring it.

The only television we have (13 years old) went belly up 2 weeks ago and the wife and I took the plunge and bought an HD set. We'll open it tomorrow morning because it is a surprise for the kids. But, that put a nifty dent in the budget so I'll probably have to wait until next year for the tools. I can limp by on my old 14.4 drill, but I have some outdoor jobs in mind that the circ saw would be ideal for.

Merry Christmas to all!

I got a Hobart 187 welder this year. Its a nice MIG welder, it can handle any thing I throw at it. I just got done welding some of the thickest stock we have (1/2") and it showes no sign of slowing down. I use my PTO driven generator to power it up until my dad gets around to calling an his friend to hard wire some outlets.

Yup, for the most part, I've been a pretty good boy this year.

Merry X-mas!
