I have a 1990 F 250 5.8 Windsor EFI and it runs drives GR8!! but when i open her op it smokes black likes it want to be an diesel ... i know thats running rich problem but how can i fix this ? ? some one told me to tightend the fuel line bolt on the intake but i wanted some advise first... so what should i do? tnx allot

 

Replace the Oxygen sensor. If your truck reacts like mine did you will lose a bit of power but gain some mileage.

 

Don't replace anything until you check for codes. You will end up replaceing everything under the hood trying to guess what your problem might be. Check for codes, post results, and we can go from there.

 

when i pulled codes on mine it said that the eng temp sensor was out.
