I double-checked my tranny today...if that thing won't bolt tight up to a 460, I'll swallow it whole! Has the starter bulge and the holes for the guidepins and looks exactly like the pattern on every 460 I've ever worked on, so I'm gonna say, no, don't get the tranny. I've got it covered.

Unless we want it for a spare.

Hey Dan,

How tied up are you on Saturday? Say late afternoon, early evening?

I'm going to bring the engine and tranny (good for a spare for the cost) back wth me...we could hook up in Sacramento area and transfer the setup to you.

If not, no issue, I've room to store it.

That's the problem...I just can't get out of here for the next three weekends, otherwise I'd be planning to go over there and help (especially now that I have a vehicle that should get better than 10 MPG!)

But after that I should be good to go, barring any unforseen crap that may pop up at the last minute (as it has a way of doing!)
