I need to purchase a set of aftermarket running boards for my 1950 F1. I have most of the wish books but would like to know if anyone has a supplier they would recommend. Also I plan to purchase metal unless someone can pursuade me that fiberglass is a better option.

Just scanning the adds for LMK I believe it was called the price was somewhere near 900 dollars that is scary. I guess I will be repairing the ones I have, not really so bad though. Need to reproduce the area for the bolt mounts for the fenders the rest I will do the best I can with. I am all ears for the response you get I plan on replacing my 50 f1 bed with a 51 f1 bed much cheaper and I happen to like the the non stamped look. Have one 51 left fender and will need a rt 51 fender to make the transfer. Good luck ed ke6bnl I to need to know the best place for the body parts.
Mid Fifty sells steel boards for $210-295 and fiberglass ones for $150.00. Great buys! I am getting the fiberglass ones because they don't warp after a long period of time like the steel ones and they are lighter in weight.
I have a set of boards for a 48-52 F-1. The left is rot free, only a slight crease in edge, easy fix.Needs sandblasting. Right one has repairs started where a exh. stack went thru and back edge. I have pics of them. $125.00 plus shipping.E-mail me at CLUSSY38(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
