Had a question about the fuel filter housing. On my truck I have a major leak from a sensor on the housing. If you are looking from the top it is on the left side just next to the fuel line closest to the firewall. Is this a sensor I can replace or do I have to replace the hosuing. Just in case I put a picture of it up in my gallery.
EDIT,,,,,,,, Do you mean the one with the Flat black electrical connector on top (fuel heater) or the one pointing to the center of the engine the plugged filter sensor (vacuum) check the page below....
Heater has 2 orings in it......I know Dman only shows one but if you further disassemble the heater element there is another. Email me for pics. http://www.intellidog.com/dieselmann/filter.jpg
Mine unplugs easily, but my wiring harness is only two years old.
After it has been on for almost 20 years the rubber cap that seals the connection may be rather hard.
