expedition trans fluid

changing fluid 1998 5.4 expedition should i use dextrion 5 fluid or if not what

There's no such thing as "dextrion 5".

Use either whatever is specified on the transmission dipstick, in your owner's manual, or just use Mercon V.

mercon v is the correct fluid for your application. easily found at any parts store.
