ABS Light Is On??

I have an 04 Supercrew FX4 with 30,000 miles on it and my ABS light just came on tonight and cant figure out why it did. My cousin has an 04 Ext Cab FX4 with 25,000 miles on it and his ABS light came on too. I would like to get peoples input on whats wrong with it before I take it to a dealer.

'Could be a buildup of shavings on the sensor in the rear-end, due to improper backlash set at the factory.

Or it could be something less..... doomsday-ish. You said you and someone else had a sensor go bad? Temperature change in your area lately? Go wheeling? It could have thrown that code for a NUMBER of reasons. If it is still under warranty, why not have them look at it?
