Has there been any bad effects from this fuel? Do I need to run additives?

One thing that i noticed from everyone on this forum is that when the switch was made alot of people had fuel leaks around the o-rings on the fuel bowl. From the reading i have done the fuel suppliers are supposed to put enough lubricants in to make it safe to use in our trucks. I had been running diesel kleen in every tank and continue to do so. It helps lubricate and keeps from gelling and also has a bunch of other benefits.

I personaly have not had any problems relating to the new fuel, BUT there have been alot of fuel leaks that seem to have appeared since the new fuel came out .

I've been reading a lot about the leaks too, so I picked up a pack of 10 PTFE O-rings from McMaster Carr Supply. I kept 4 of the rings and gave 6 of them away to other members.

Now I have some rings, just in case I have a problem.

I have see a drop in fuel mileage with the ULSD so I have been going to the only station in town that has Bio Fuel. I use diesel kleen in every tank as well.

You know you don't need to add the additive to fuel if you use the BioDiesel...

Yes but when it gets cold it is still hard to start if I don't have it in the tank don't know why but if I use kleen I don't have any problems. It is B2 soyfuel I don't run kleen till it turns cold.

Then I run it in every tank.
