This is the last forum about my exhaust, i am getting it Thursday, i am going to replace the two stock converters on my 88 F150 with a hi flow CAT and from there run straight pipes. Is there any change in sound if the position of the CAT is changed on the pipe also is there any sound change from bigger pipe. By the way i want the sound to be loud.

The bigger pipe will make for an expansion chamber, which should make for more sound. Some mufflers are higher flow than straight pipe, but not necessarily more sound. A second pipe expansion at the tip will also help. Just don't get any sound violation tickets.
