Has anybody ever bought wheels from newtakeoff.com? What is the main difference between new takeoffs and manufactures as far as quality goes?

I was thinking of getting the 5spoke machined cast aluminum 18" wheels like the ones on the FX4s. Currently I have the chrome clad 17" on my XLT Crew.

 

i would be interested to know how that goes i was thinking the same thing, or if someone has any comments about dealing with them in the past.

arent they manufactured by ford the wheels anyway and then newtakeoff.com get them and sells them..that what i think anyway i didnt think that they manufactured the wheels to look like ford wheels??

New take off items are original equipment items that are removed by companies that replace them with aftermarket items. An example would be a Tuscany FTX conversion truck. All of the perfectly good but hardly used original wheels, tires, upholstery and such are sold at a fraction of what it would cost to go to the dealer and buy them from the parts dept. Just because they dont want the parts laying around.

 

check for deals on ebay too.

 

yeah ebay is where i bought the wheels and tires that are on my truck right now and they where new
