hypertech programmer...any good....?
I am goin to install my hypertech programmer tomorrow....is it worth it...is it safe...I have talked to a few guys who had one and some say they noticed a change for the better....some say didn't feel a thing...I wanted the banks and pda but I coundn't pass up the hypertech for a $130 new in box....but than I was thinking if it does nothing I just wasted a $130 that could have been for gas to just go for a drive in the bad boy.....PLease let me know what you think and know....Thanks, Chris

hi, i have one on my '99 250 4x4 v10 , bought it to get mpg, not any better did gain some power. was having some prob. took it out , found a bad wire on o2 sensor, left out truck was dead, i like the adj. on shift points can go up or down , worth 130 for sure barry
