Cab corners

I know what I need but I don't know what it is called... Anyhoo, I need the piece that goes from the front cab on a 60 F-100 to the front cab mount, seems this part is causing my fenders to pull away from the cab. Will I be better off fabricating or what ???
All help will be appreciated.

I think you are talking about the area that is near where the fender bolts to the lower front portion of the cab. Is that right?

That's correct, it's at the lower corner of the inner fender, they tell me it(whatever they call it gets weak). I've tried several links but so far no luck, thanks for responding.

Lower corner of the inner fender. Your talking about the fenderwell or just the inside of the fender? I guess it doesn't matter cause they dont make either one aftermarket. It is a salvage yard item. The inner fenderwell has a bracket that bolts to the cab and then the fender bolts to the bracket. It would not be too hard to fabricate. The fender bolts to the lower outside bottom corners off the cab. That is probably where you are talking about. Depending on the extent of the rust it could be hard to do. Mine 57 has a tab that hangs down. is that where your rust is?

Guess you are right, I'll have to take off both fenders and I'll know alot more but again thanks
