new guy
have a 97 7.3, with 175000 miles, bought it 3 months ago, nice truck but it had a perormace chip, and trans must be replaced. ouch!
will be better than new when done. so watch those chips and use with care

Welcome, too bad about the transmission having to be repaired as it must
hurt. Hopefully it will be better than new.
