Question Electrical problem I think

Hi everyone, I have a 1986 Ranger with a 2.9. I do not have any power to my fuel pump. I replaced the relay and still nothing. The Inertia switch seems to be O.K. but I am not sure if I should have power to it with the key on or when I try to start the truck. Any Ideas as to where I should look next. It was running pretty good, my wife parked it after she came home from work, when I went to start it my battery was dead and now I get no fuel. I do have spark and all the fuses I can find check out good.

you should have power in and out of the inertia switch for a couple seconds at key on engine off or continuous while cranking

There is a wire from the ground terminal if the battery that is smaller then the regular cable. it should have a plug together connector about 10 inches from the battery. if that came disconnected you will have no fuel pump!!

Check to see if the wire broke or came apart!
