Gas tanks???

I have a '51 F-1 with gas tank still behind the seat. I plan to relocate it. I know there is a tech article on this site about using a mustang tank. Has anyone used any other tanks? What vehicles did they come from? What modifications had to be done? How did you route the fill neck? The one on my donor car won't work at all (too long).
