New frame?
Hi guys thanks for looking. I am trying to decide if I should back half my truck or try and find a new frame or rear frame section. I have an 81 f100 step side and the frame is basicly rusted through on one side. I want to put a big motor in it and have a fun street strip truck that can knock the snot out of about anything around here. So I am thinking 4 link, narrowed rear. Also what about boxing the frame, pros and cons? If I do decide to build it what do you think I should go with 2x4 steel I assume but what thicknes? Any help and suggestions would be great. Should I just trash the truck and find one in better shape?
