Ebay is the best place to find a used one, look for one with metal side tanks, the plastic one will work just as well though. one from a 6.0 is even better if you plan on pushing alot of air though it.
as for the plumbing the pipes of a Sd will work with some masaging the is a guy in washington that used to make pipe kits but I dont know if he still does.
the Y-pipe off of a SD will not work you will have to fab your own or find one ina kit.
Banks sells a kit for 3 times the price of an ebay intercooler and pipes. I dont suggest it
