turbo upgrade ?

i was thinking about doing some turbo mods but i have some questions. has anyone installed this? http://www.puredieselpower.com/catal...ing-p-723.html i was also thinking about adding an ats ported housing too. any thoughts? are these good reliable mods? what kind of performance gains will i get? my turbo pedistal is leaking so i figured while i have the turbo off i might as well do some mods. thanks guys.

My turbo pedestal (actually the EBPV rod) was leaking too, and instead of taking the money and spending it on fixing the seal, i deleted the EPBV by using a new pedestal, then i added a 1.15 exhaust housing, and the EBPV delete flange. They were all worth the money, and i only notice slower warmup times now with no EBPV in the system, only on very cold winter mornings. Other than that, the fact of knowing my turbo is alot more efficient is very good.

where did you get the 1.15 ex housing and all the other parts? how is the 1.15 housing better than the 1.0? i looked into your gallery, great write up on changing out the housing.

I got it from www.shopdiesel.com, but i would not recommend that because of their poor customer service. Very poor. I do believe Beans Diesel Performance has the housings now. The 1.15 housing is larger, offering more flow on the top end, keeping boost pressure to drive pressure ratio at about 1:1. Stock .84 housing has about 1 boost pound to every 2 pounds of drive pressure, very inefficient. the 1.15 housing is just a larger housing. Some say it increases turbo lag, but with a chip i dont notice it.
