need a little help
Hi im knew to the site and posting for my brother. He has a 1999 F 250 super duty 4x4 5 speed reg. cab. The started a few weeks ago when he come home from sckool for Thankagiving weekend. The truck sits most of the time, so he came home got in it and went for a ride. The truck ran normal for a while then it just died we were just going along in second gear and it died. crankded it up took off and died every time you let out the clutch it died so we got pulled home. Then the truck wont start at all. let it sit for a day or so and it will crank up and run for a few minutes. It doesnt die any more when you let out the clutch but after a few minutes it will run real rough and miss backfire and barly run and then shut down. Try to refire the truck and sonetimes it will start and run real rough again, but if you let it ait for several hours it will crank up and run fine for a few minutes and start the same stuff again. Were going to put a fuel presure guage on it to see what that says any body know what the psi should be on that thanks a lot or please let me know if you have any other ideas on our problem thanks again Joe

Fords run a low pressure say something around 20-30psi. Stuck injectors would be my first thought, the running rich.
Time to do some maintance, replace the o2's and fuel filter. Take a good look at the wires going to the injectors.
