My brakes comes and go ... well when they "go" ... I can still stop the truck, but I have to stand on them. Most times they will be fine and will work. Warning light sometimes comes on, but mostly not.
Had it at the shop, guy took it home, it didn't do it for him.
Hubby had replaced hoses, checked belt (I think), had gauge on it ... would be up around 15 ... Even at about 6-8 I had brakes, but when it went below 5, the "hard" brake was what I had... no power brakes.
So. I have a manual, and it gives a test to determine which is which, but I the results were inconclusive enough to determine pump or booster.
There's a glitch in the posting program. I cannot get it to print out the word "brakes." The post should say "My brakes (b-r-a-k-e-s) come and go ..." Didn't show up in the first post correctly.
Thanks
