Wrong PCM in truck
I have a 1991 I have been battling all summer with tranny issues. It was rebuilt in may. Well low and behold I never thought of checking the PCM numbers till a local shop said replac eit. The PCM I have in now is for a 1993 turbo diesel unit. Would this cause weird problems with the trans and trow codes? I manly get a tps error code fallowed by TCC slip. I have found s few PCM's that are the F1TF compared to the F4TF CAWO I have in it now.
