Radio Problem

I have a '93 F150 Supercab, used the tools to try and remove the radio. It won't come out!!!

Is there something that I am missing? I have looked at as many posts as I can find regarding this subject and haven't seen anything.

I can feel the latches release when I use the tool but the radio won't budge, not forward, sideways or anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Before you ask: Yes, I am sure that they are ford removal tools.

push the tools in and the pull them to the outside before you attempt to pull the radio out.

you have to do it very hard to the outside on some of these.

a drink was probably spilled on dash and is the sticking problem.

pull as hard as you can withut bending the tools.

When I removed the one outta my 93 I had a helper pull on the removal tools while I reached up behind the dash and pushed the radio. Made it a little easier at the time.
