Absolutely hate these continentals, what are you guys replacing them with keeping in mind I need the same rating. They are the 275 75 18's. The truck is an 07 f350. My last truck I went thru 2 sets in 76,000 kms. I don't haul on a daily basis.
I'm looking to replace mine too. BFG A/T in 18" are a bit smaller in diameter than the stock tires. I find that disappointing. I was hoping they would be at least as big. They do make a larger size, but it doesn't have the load rating and it requires a 8.5" rim min. Stock rim is 8".

You don't know how familiar that looks. Only my bumper was a bit more messed up and the grill was cracked.
I had a little help with my accident thou. I had to avoid some lady that pulled out in front of me and the tires lost grip and i spun and went down in to the ditch.
When i got my truck back I went right down to the local tire dealer and had BFG's put on.
I was just rolling down the road at 30mph, locked in and POOF!, off into the ditch.
The worst part of it was I was on my way home from tire shopping in the next town over, could not find anything, and this happens about 1 mile from the house!
I had the pleasure of going sideways with my Conticraps in a rainstorm once. Never hydroplaned with a truck before unless the tires were about shot. These only had about 11K on them. Got some Goodyear Wrangler AT\S.
That and needing 4WD if the grass was wet or pushing the front tires into a 1/2" of sand.
Just put a set of bfg's on my new 07, ford wanted an additional 300 bucks to exchange. I put the 275 65 18 all terrain. Look nice but maybe a little bit smaller than the continentals. At least I will stay on the road.

I was still close enough to see my driveway. Those Conti's must be the one of the worst winter tires on the road. I hope you got your truck all fixed up and some new rubber mounted.
i went with the nitto 275/65-18e at.they are only about a 1/2" shorter but they work a billion times better in the snow.only a little bit more road noise than the conticraps.also gives the truck a whole different look.i'm very happy with them.seem to ride about the same.
