1988 F150 engine problem.
hi all, well, first of all i'd like to say hi to all. i'm new to this forum.
now, for my question. i have a 1988 ford f150 stright 6. i have notice that it has a slight flat spot just off idle and that makes it hard to take off smooth. then it, i think has a hesatation like 1/4 throttle and beyond. if i punch it after i'm rolling its hesatating and if i let go slowly of the gas it seems to like pick up speed. don't make sence. then, after it warms up. if i'm on 4th gear
( manual tranny ) and like let off on the gas just enough to cruise i seem to hear some tapping going on. but when its cold i don't hear that. well. you all probly ganna say. wow. lots of trouble. but besides that it runs ok i guess.lol. it has 17700 mile on it. and its EFI fuel system. if any help, thanks. and thanks if not.
