6.4

I finished my on line 6.4 training. From what I've seen so far, this aint gonna be pretty! Particulate filters, egr coolers (yes, coolers), 2 thermostats, sensors everywhere, almost anything you do, pull the cab.

laaaame.

What ever happened to the days where you can get in the truck and take it apart down to the block?

Seems like a niche to me that is no longer filled. Maybe ford marketing knows more than I do...

My father was a 30 year retiree from GM. That is what they called "SERVICE-ORIENTED", a nice-sounding name meaning engineering designed to take repairs out of the consumer's hands and into the SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
So, how long til we can expect to see a full-blown aftermarket "TILT CAB" setup developed for sale? hehe

Now that would be cool!

It would sure make it easier for 6L to apply that duct tape...

Hood rusted shut? It wouldn't do that if you made the hinges out of wood.
