Who sells parts for a F5? Most catalog companies sell only F1 parts. How can I get the part numbers used on a F5?
Parts I need are:
A adapter to convert to a dual master cylinder. What dual master cylinder will work with the bigger brakes on the F5.
Drum brake shoes.
Rubber for the steering components.
It has a rear brake light bracket on the driver side. Is a driver side bracket available for the right side? I would like to install turn signals.
A alternator bracket for a single wire GM alternator for a 239 flathead V8 and pulley.
A center driveshat support (is it bigger than the F1).
The three universal joints (are they different from the F1).
Bolts that attach the springs to the chassis.
5 driver side wheel lugs and 5 passenger side wheel lugs.
Your help will be appreciated.

If you have a "larger" truck repair place by you, that may be a source for parts.

Try Joblot Automotive, in Queens, NY. They seem to have quite a large inventory of old "big" Ford truck parts. Check out their website at http://www.joblotauto.com

You might also try NAPA on-line. They have a free service for locating older vehicle parts. They helped with my 54 F-350 which shares some parts with the F-5, schoolbus, etc.
As far as the carrier bearing, I was able to adapt the 55 and later version with minimal work.
