Performance Question
I am interested in increasing the performance, but do not want to go overboard.
I want to be sure I get the best bang for my money.
I am looking for some feedback on anyone that could help with suggestions.
I use the truck for everyday transportation but also at times use for trailering a 19 ft boat.
I want to also increase the horsepower and MPG, but do not want to have to use premium gasoline due to the higher cost.
Things I am considering, but want to be sure I am not adding equipment that may work against each other are listed below:
JET Performance Ford Module
AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake
Power-Flo Mass Air Sensor or Flow Throttle Body
Possibly Dual exhaust (but quite exhaust/no noise)
If anyone has any suggestions, or what will work please pass on your knowledge. Also any websites that I may find the equipment would also be appreciated.

Any of the mods you listed will increase your power. Theoretically they will also help with your fuel consuption......but, if you are like me, you have more power so you use more power.
So, don't expect miracles. Your F-150 isn't going to get 30 MPG.
But, every little bit helps. I would start with an intake kit and a catback exhaust and see what that does for you.
i put a k&n fipk and a gibson dual extreme exhaust on my 5.4L superduty, and the drivability was improved much more than i thought. the truck no longer seems to "lug" itself around, its got a lot more get up and go.
so i agree with redford, go with an intake and exhaust first, and go from there.
its always better to have the truck breathing and venting better before you tune it anyway.
